MSW ADEI Instrument

The new SWEAP ADEI Instrument is made up of approximately 70 items, including student demographics. The student feedback reflects how their social work program’s implicit and explicit curriculum meets the CSWE goals of providing students a learning environment that respects the value and meaning of ADEI, and supports the development of cultural humility. 

Social work programs can use this valuable feedback to adequately meet CSWE EPAS 2022 assessment reporting requirements. Also, the data allows programs to make informed adjustments to their explicit curriculum and learning environment. 

The administration of this instrument through SWEAP makes it easy for programs to get the language they need to report program assessment outcomes to CSWE. Additionally, programs can access their raw data in order to perform bivariate analyses to determine if their students differentially experience the program’s explicit and implicit curriculum by racial/ethnic identity, gender identity, age, and condition/impairment/disability status.
